What one monthly fee actually covers: website, posts, video, blog and emails
A plain walk through the six things we make for small local businesses, what keeping them current asks of you, and what it costs.

If you run a café, a salon, a gym or a shop, you have probably wondered whether one monthly fee can really cover your whole online presence. It is a fair question. Here is exactly what we make, and what keeping it current asks of you.
Your website
We build you a site, or take over the one you already have, and keep it current. Menus, services, prices, events and opening hours are updated when you tell us something has changed.
Your domain is always registered in your name. If you already have one, it stays exactly where it is and we simply point it at your site. Your email keeps working throughout. And if you ever leave, your website and its code are sent to you automatically, with a one-page guide to keeping it live.
On Tier 1 that is a one-page site. From Tier 2 upwards it is a full site with separate pages.
Social media
We plan, schedule and publish a steady rhythm of posts on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, in your voice. You do not need to remember to post on a busy Saturday. It is handled.
Short videos
Fifteen-second vertical videos with your branding, titles and captions, made from what is new in your business. There are no filming days. You never need to stand in front of a camera or find time to edit.
Image posts
Branded graphics and photo posts in your colours, with your logo and your tone. Every post looks like it belongs to you, not like a template.
Blog posts
Posts about your news, from a new menu to a recent event. They are written for your customers and for search engines, and published straight to your site. That helps people find you when they search locally.
Customer emails
From Tier 2 upwards, friendly emails go to your customers about events, offers and new stock. We only send them when there is something worth saying, to the people who already love you.
What it asks of you
This is the part most owners ask about. Your only job is to keep us posted.
Something new? Log in to your own space on goldenscope.co.uk. Photograph the new menu, or type a line. Check what we read from it. Tap confirm. That is it.
You tell us once, and that one update becomes website changes, posts, video, blog posts and customer messages. Each month we check in to show you what went out, what worked, and plan what is coming up.
Nothing goes out unchecked
One of our team checks every post, video and update before it is published. You can also approve or comment on anything from your login. Nothing goes out under your name until it has been signed off.
What it costs
There are four fixed tiers, set by the size of your business. We never give custom quotes and we never negotiate.
- Tier 1, Micro: owner plus up to around five staff, one site. £200 a month. 2 videos and 6 image posts a month.
- Tier 2, Small: around six to fifteen staff, one site. £400 a month. 7 videos and 7 image posts a month, plus customer emails.
- Tier 3, Established: around sixteen to fifty staff. £500 a month. 10 videos and 10 image posts a month.
- Tier 4, Larger: more than fifty staff, or two or more sites. £800 a month. 20 videos and 20 image posts a month.
The allowance is a ceiling. If you regularly need more, you move up a tier. There is a three-month minimum, then it rolls monthly. Payment is by card each month.
We work with businesses anywhere in the UK, fully remotely, so it makes no difference where you are.
See it for your own business
The easiest way to judge whether it is worth it is to see it. We will make a free example of what we would produce for a business like yours. Take a look at goldenscope.co.uk/sample.
