Who we are

Goldenscope is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at hello@goldenscope.co.uk.

What we collect and why

• Enquiries. When you use the contact form we keep your name, business name, email, phone number and message so we can reply. We keep enquiries for up to 12 months.
• Client accounts. If you become a client we hold your business profile, the updates and photos you send us, the content we make for you, and your billing details, for as long as you are a client and for 30 days afterwards unless you ask us to keep your dashboard open.
• Website use. We do not use advertising cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run your account: our hosting and database providers, our email provider, our payment provider and the scheduling service we use to publish to your social accounts. Each is bound by its own privacy terms and we share only what is needed. We never sell your information.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Clients can export or delete their data from their own login. For anything else, email us and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Social accounts

We connect to your social accounts through a scheduling service. We never ask for or store your social media passwords. Any accounts we create for you are set up in your name, with your email and phone number, so they are yours from day one.
