What £42 a month gets your business, and what the packages add
Every price, in plain English: the one-off build fee, what the £42 monthly base plan covers, what it doesn't, and what a typical month costs.

Most owners we speak to want two straight answers. What will it cost, and what do I get for it? So here is the whole thing, in plain English, with nothing left vague.
First, a one-off build fee
Before the monthly plan starts, there is a single fee for building your website. It is set by the size of the site:
- Starter, £200 once. A one-page website with your own .co.uk, built and written for you.
- Full site, £400 once. A multi-page website: home, about, what you do, contact and a blog.
- Full site plus, £500 once. A full website with a menu, shop, bookings or what's-on pages that update themselves.
- Multi-site, £800 once. Websites for two or more sites or locations.
Already have a website? We can take it over and keep it current, or build you a new one and move your domain across when it is ready.
Then £42 a month, for every business
The base plan is the same price for everyone. Here is what it covers:
- Your website, kept current. Updated from whatever you send us.
- Hosting and security. Fast, secure hosting with a certificate, backups and monitoring, all looked after.
- Your domain, looked after. Registered in your name and kept renewed. We handle the records and never touch your email.
- Unlimited updates. New menu, new prices, new hours. Photograph it or type it in your login.
- Your Google reviews on your site, refreshed as new ones arrive.
- Your own login on goldenscope.co.uk, to send updates, see what we've made and switch packages on or off.
- Everything signed off first. Nothing goes out under your name until we have approved it.
What the base plan does not do
We would rather be clear now than surprise you later. Nothing is posted to social media on the base plan alone. The £42 keeps your website right, safe and current. If you want to show up regularly on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, that is what the packages are for.
The packages, and what each costs
Packages are monthly add-ons. You switch them on or off from your login, whenever you like.
Short videos. Fifteen-second vertical videos with your branding, titles and captions, made from what is new in your business. No filming days.
- 2 videos a month: £49
- 5 videos a month: £99
- 10 videos a month: £199
Image posts. Branded graphics and photo posts in your colours, your logo and your tone.
- 4 image posts a month: £19
- 8 image posts a month: £29
- 12 image posts a month: £39
Videos and image posts go to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
Everything else:
- Customer emails: £19 a month
- Monthly blog post: £9 a month
- Extra site or location: £42 a month
What a typical month looks like
A typical small business adds 2 videos and 4 image posts. That is £42 for the base plan, £49 for the videos and £19 for the image posts: £110 a month in all. Your website stays current, and your socials get a steady rhythm of posts, without you spending your evenings on it.
Keeping us posted
Your part is small. When something changes, log in and photograph the new menu, or type a line. Check what we read from it and tap confirm. That is your whole job. Every post, video and update is checked before it is published, and you can approve or comment on content from your login.
No minimum term, no haggling
The monthly plan rolls month to month. Stop whenever you like and it ends at the end of that paid month. Packages you switch off stop at the end of the month too. Payment is by card each month.
Prices are fixed. We never give custom quotes and we never negotiate, so the business next door pays exactly what you pay. Each package has a fixed monthly allowance. Need more? Switch to the next size from your login.
And if you ever leave, your website and its code are yours. They are sent to you automatically, with a one-page guide to keeping it live.
See it all in one place
If you would like to look over the numbers again, or work out your own month, every price is laid out in one place at goldenscope.co.uk/pricing.
